The Book of Mormon contains 337 proper names and 21 gentilics (or analogous forms) based on proper names. Of these 337 proper names, 188 are unique to the Book of Mormon.

The letter — the so-called “Danite Manifesto” — displayed the signatures of eighty-three Mormons, including that of Joseph Smith’s brother, and fellow member of the First Presidency,
83 = JESUS using the backwards alphabet
MORMON = 29 74 103 using the backwards alphabet
This matches exactly the string for Jesus using the forward alphabet.
BACKWARDS ALPHABET : Z= 1 Y = 2 X = 3 ETC.
