Campaign Exit Polls: “Religion Counts” – 1/2 of Romney’s votes from Mormons

About a quarter of Nevada GOP voters were Mormon, and virtually all of them preferred Mitt Romney. Overall, about half of Romney’s Nevada votes came from Mormons. Among non-Mormons, he had a slight lead over Ron Paul. National polls have shown that Romney’s Mormon religion is a problem for significant numbers of Republican voters. Romney and Mike Huckabee were doing best among white born-again and evangelical Christians.

Please know, that THIS moment has been in the making for a verrrrry long time. Religion is thee single most dangerous construct on planet earth.  Religion has a way of killing and torturing people.

Nevada tells Ron Paul to grow up and shut up.

Nevada GOP dismisses Paul complaintMichael Levenson
Boston Globe
Saturday January 19, 2008

LAS VEGAS — Ron Paul, other than Mitt Romney the only Republican actively campaigning for Saturday’s Republican caucuses in Nevada, called this afternoon for the state party to consider postponing the contest due to “multiple inconsistencies.”But the state Republican Party immediately dismissed the allegations and said the caucus would go on as planned.

“We would hope that the Paul campaign would go act like adults and not try to set up straw men to make up for their lack of organizing,” said Steve Wark, a caucus spokesman.

The Paul campaign complained that voters have received postcards with incorrect caucus locations, that eligibility requirements to participate have been changed several times, and that several rural counties could run out of ballots.

Alberto Gonzales’s Cheif of Staff was mormon, Kyle Sampson

Mormon Tool of Beaurocracy and Fascism

Today the Senate Judiciary Committee interviewed Kyle Sampson, who recently “resigned” as the Chief of Staff to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. After hours of interrogation the team boiled down to Sen. Chuck Schumer and Sen. Orrin Hatch. Sampson was grilled heavily by Schumer only to be passed over to Hatch who would immediately pet and coddle the pasty faced sweaty man and nurse him along until passing him back to Sen. Schumer again for yet another brutal round of accusation and innuendo.
Clearly, this man was set out as committee bait and offered up as a sacrificial lamb in order to shield Rove and Gonzales or maybe even George W himself. Ingratiating as it was to witness Democratic Senators vent their swelling frustration, it was puzzling to see how Hatch was practically feeding him cotton candy.
WHY? Was it merely Republican clansmanship? Not so easy.Turns out that Hatch and Sampson are both Mormons and both graduated from Brigham Young U. To top it off, Sampson served from 1999 to 2001 Counsel to Sen. Hatch on the Senate Judiciary Committee!

older article  but need to know……………………………………………………………………
You simply have no idea do you……remember that Beth Meyers, Rove friend is Romney’s campaign manager.
The day will come, if Romney is elected that you are either going to be mormon, or you won’t have a job. Unless you are hispanic. Then, you can shine his shoes.
Aside from that, our Gov, would not have tortured without Gonzales cover. Kyle knew all about it.

Hispanics back the new anti immigrant Romney in Nevada.

Did I miss something while I was counting the stones on my gem sweater? Do these people not watch Mitt speak? Are they paying attention? Ohh, maybe those are the hispanics who already have green cards. Or, maybe they have family in Utah, the state called IMMIGRANT PARADISE by the Denver Post. Ok then. See, if you think something through all the way, it all comes together. You don’t need ALL the pieces, as long as there isn’t a hole in the middle.

Yahoo: “Mormons almost unanimously support Romney”

Women and older voters helped Hillary Clinton while blacks overwhelmingly backed Barack Obama in initial preference for Nevada‘s Democratic presidential caucuses Saturday, a preliminary survey found. In the state’s Republican caucuses, Mormons almost unanimously supported Mitt Romney as he romped in a barely contested race.

Yahoo is so bad for linking Mormonism to Romney. And blacks to Obama, and old women to Clinton. Isn’t this against the law now? Can they do that? Why does being Mormon have ANYTHING to do with Romney? Oh, I don’t know maybe because nearly every single republican mormon in Nevada voted for him? But is that fair to bring that up? Hell no. Leave Mitt alone. He’s got a world to convert and own. Stop distracting him.

Been fun. I think I would rather count the stones in my gem sweater

I have a feeling there are more there than 340. It says on the label that there are 340. But, it’s  obvious to me there are at least that many in the cuffs alone. Maybe they meant to say that the CUFFS have 340 stones. Now that I have seen the results of today’s caucusesssssssss, I think I have the energy and desire to count the stones in my gem sweater. If it turns out that there are 341, I am removing the extra stone. Sometimes, we have to stand up for the truth.

Voting machines down in SC – McCain not happy.

The McCain campaign is calling on its supporters to make sure their votes are counted.

CONWAY, South Carolina (CNN)

“We have received reports from Horry County that voters are being turned away from the polls, because electronic voting machines are not working and paper ballots are not available,” Buzz Jacobs, McCain’s South Carolina state director, said in a statement. “Some voters say they are being instructed to return at a later time. We are disturbed by these reports and hope that this issue is resolved immediately. We encourage any voters who were turned away from the polls to return again to their polling place this afternoon to exercise their constitutional right to vote.”

Nevada Repub Party changed rules 3 times since 1/9/08 . Caucus Chaos.

“The inconsistencies, errors and multiple changes in the rules reek of playing politics with the what should be a neutral process,” said Ron Paul 2008 campaign manager Lew Moore.

“The people of Nevada deserve to know exactly what the rules are and to know that those rules are being fairly enforced. This has not happened up to this point, and the caucus appears to be in chaos.”

The problem of multiple rule changes is being compounded by other inconsistencies and errors in the process.

Many Nevada Republicans have received postcards with incorrect information about their caucus location, and the Nevada GOP website had incorrect caucus locations listed as late as Wednesday, January 16.

Additionally, one or more county chairs have expressed concerns over an insufficient number of ballots, and the Ron Paul campaign has heard reports that rural counties are short of ballots, while Clark County precincts were given what is regarded as far too many ballots.

The Ron Paul campaign has learned that the Nevada Republican Party has changed the rules for eligibility requirements for caucusing three times since January 9.
