Blackwater gets millions – Walter Reed gets rats.

Soldiers Face Neglect, Frustration At Army’s Top

Medical Facility

Behind the door of Army Spec. Jeremy Duncan’s room, part of the wall is torn and hangs in the air, weighted down with black mold. When the wounded combat engineer stands in his shower and looks up, he can see the bathtub on the floor above through a rotted hole. The entire building, constructed between the world wars, often smells like greasy carry-out. Signs of neglect are everywhere: mouse droppings, belly-up cockroaches, stained carpets, cheap mattresses. This is the world of Building 18, not the kind of place where Duncan expected to recover when he was evacuated to Walter Reed Army Medical Center from Iraq last February with a broken neck and a shredded left ear, nearly dead from blood loss. But the old lodge, just outside the gates of the hospital and five miles up the road from the White House, has housed hundreds of maimed soldiers recuperating from injuries suffered in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/02/17/AR2007021701172.htmlYes, that story is from 2007. It’s old news. I haven’t heard a single other thing about it.

Soldiers with Blackwater Private Security Firm are contracted with our gov. for millions.

Do you want to see some picutures of Walter Reed Hospital ?

Bottom line: If you can’t fight anymore, you are of no use to us.

Saving Money: Blackwater vs. Military
Exactly how much money does the United States government pay Blackwater to secure diplpomatic personnel? The report says an average of $1,222 a day for each guard, or $445,891 a year. That’s “significantly higher than the costs that would be incurred by the military,” the paper says. It follows with a comparison:

The security services provided by Blackwater would typically be performed by an Army Sergeant, whose salary, housing, and subsistence pay range from approximately $140 to $190 per day, depending on rank and years of service. On an annual basis, the salary, housing, and subsistence pay of an Army Sergeant ranges from $51,100 to $69,350 per year. The amount the government pays Blackwater for these same services is approximately six to nine times greater.

VOTE THEM ALL OUT. THEY ARE ALL RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS. ALL OF THEM. NONE OF THEM STOOD UP FOR THE RIGHT THING. THEY ARE COWARDS AND CORRUPT.
