Congratulations to Mike Huckabee

I can’t vote for the man, but I like him. He’s way too conservative for my blood, and the bible stuff is fine for some folk, but I’m not there anymore. In any case, he has hung in there very tough. It’s actually quite amazing. His dis in the debates were almost criminal. CNN totally ignored him, clearly. MSNBC was right behind. This is a guy that could win. It’s a long shot, but I think he deserves a hat tip.

Expect Delayed Results In Sacramento County  –
‘Inconsistencies’ During Testing Blamed

http://www.kcra.com/politics/15220517/detail.html

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A delay in Super Tuesday voting results is expected in Sacramento County because “inconsistencies” in tabulation machines will force all ballots to be counted at the registrar’s office instead of at individual polling places, an election official said.

The county’s results will likely not be known until early Wednesday.

But Brad Buyse, spokesman for the registrar’s office, emphasized that voters’ ballots will indeed count.

“Just trust that your vote will be counted accurately,” Buyse said early Tuesday.

Romney Statement on West Virginia, Accusing McCain of Back Room Deal

February 5th, 2008

Today, Romney for President Campaign Manager Beth Myers issued the following statement regarding the outcome of West Virginia’s Republican Party convention:

“Unfortunately, this is what Senator McCain’s inside Washington ways look like: he cut a backroom deal with the tax-and-spend candidate he thought could best stop Governor Romney’s campaign of conservative change.

“Governor Romney had enough respect for the Republican voters of West Virginia to make an appeal to them about the future of the party based on issues. This is why he led on today’s first ballot. Sadly, Senator McCain cut a Washington backroom deal in a way that once again underscores his legacy of working against Republicans who are interested in championing conservative policies and rebuilding the party.”

URGENT BREAKING EMERGENCY NEWS RE: MCCAIN AND ROMNEY
