Why doesn’t Russert ask them about Blackwater, and Spying On Our Citzens, and Oil Profits, and Impeachment and ….

We have had a gazillion debates with the same old tired questions, but none relating to EXACTLY what will impact this country more than anything else. THE LOSS OF OUR CIVIL LIBERTIES. Oh, and our ignorance.

We just keep going along like good little sheep. They don’t ask, because they are WARNED not to ask.

Wake the hell up. Is anyone begging to talk to the people about these things. Asking for some air time on these things. Hell no. We are idiots that’s why.

Yesterday, before the polls closed – while expecting Romney to win Calif, they were saying THIS IS IT. Who ever doesn’t win Calif, is out of it. Now, it’s Wednesday morning, Romney gets his ass kicked, NOT JUST IN CALIF, but all over non mormon America. But, this morning, it’s a brand new talking point.

 No shit !!!

No Shit !!!

Romney is dead. Gone. What are you going to do now, prop up his greedy stiff alien body and stick Limbaugh behind him as he travels through Oregon ?  Hoping against all hope that Romney can still pull it out? GROW UP.

You can hear it in them. They have toned things WAY DOWN.  But, if it were McCain who had lost Calif, they would have all been laughing and giggling today with news that McCain should now drop out.

There is no bigger evil than the MEDIA. Period.  It’s not just about this race. It’s about how we got to this race in the last 40 years- and where we go from here.  They are poised to poison, and they have gotten good at it. So many of them lie to our faces, without any shame? Are they human?

Unless you speak up on it, and use your voice, it will get worse. Trust me.

“Governor Romney’s address will replace the previously scheduled presentation by Dr. Lester Crawford, former Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Dr. Crawford announced his resignation from the FDA post on September 23rd.”

This is simply more than curious. While looking for connections between Bain Capital and Boston Logan Airport, I stumbled across this. And, it’s one of my favorite issues. THE FDA.

Even if Romney loses, and that is a big IF, he will still be galavanting about the Universe, taking over.

— Vaccine Technologies in the 21st Century — Several recent announcements pushed vaccines back into the limelight of the life-sciences industry. In September, Novartis announced a bid for the shares of Chiron, and GSK agreed to acquire ID Biomedical. This news signaled an intensifying commercial interest in vaccine therapeutics and spawned speculation about this therapeutic category’s prospects and pitfalls. This panel will discuss the dominant trends in this category, focusing on the latest vaccine technologies coming out of Canada and the U.S

Michael Mukasey seriously targets NEW YORK TIMES ?

Is Michael Mukasey prioritizing the harassment and

imprisonment of journalists?

(updated below)

Ever since the President’s illegal warrantless eavesdropping program was revealed by the New York Times‘ Jim Risen and Eric Lichtblau back in December, 2005, there has been a faction of neoconservatives and other extremists on the Right calling for the NYT reporters and editors to be criminally prosecuted — led by the likes of Bill Kristol (now of the NYT), Bill Bennett (of CNN), Commentary Magazine and many others. In May, 2006, Alberto Gonzales went on ABC News and revealed that the DOJ had commenced a criminal investigation into the leak, and then “raised the possibility [] that New York Times journalists could be prosecuted for publishing classified information.”

Vets Against McCain is a Lie

Vietnam Veterans Against McCain is this group distributing fliers in South Carolina about how John McCain is a traitor and screwed over other soldiers in Vietnam while being held and tortured by the North Vietnamese. It’s run by Gerard W. Kiley who also hated John Kerry in 2004 because, apparently, Mr. Kiley is the only heroic Vietnam veteran ever. It’s members include… Gerard W. Kiley of Garnerville, New York. So, it’s really more like A Vietnam Veteran Against McCain, backed by a bunch of money from other people who really don’t like McCain but didn’t realize that one pissed off old guy in Rockland County, New York does not a good movement make and that occasionally reporters fact check. Mitt Romney sides with Amnesty. His lawn is overgrown.

Does Mitt Romney know how to tell the truth? In a lengthy, two-part Hannity & Colmes interview last night (1/31/08) which just happened to come on the same day as Sean Hannity’s announcement that he’d vote for Romney (like we didn’t know that already), Romney tried to square two contradictory statements he’d made about illegal immigration. The result was a piece of nonsense. With video.

Near the end of one of one of his segments, Alan Colmes cited an interview Romney did with the San Francisco Chronicle last year, in which he said, “I don’t believe we’re going to round up the 12 or 20 million people and deport them. I do believe we need to have the people who are here as aliens register, so we know how many there are.”

News Shocker: Ron Paul biggest GOP fundraiser last quarter

Well, it’s official, ladies and gentlemen. Believe it or not, Rep. Ron Paul, the 72-year-old Texan who hardly ever gets mentioned in Republican political news and the one-time libertarian who always gets the least time on TV debates if he isn’t barred completely, was, in fact, the most successful Republican fundraiser in the last three months of 2007.

By a Texas mile.

Mitt Romney- a blip on the screen in Tennessee. McCain surging.

A New Tennessee Republican Primary Poll: Undecided Wins

Another poll has been released for the February 5th Tennessee Primary:

The big story for the GOP in Tennessee is McCain’s gain from the last poll that was conducted. McCain received only 12 percent in last week’s poll, but that has increased to 23 percent — a statistical tie with Mike Huckabee.

Huckabee visited Nashville this week, while McCain comes to town on Saturday.

In last week’s poll, the leading Republican in Channel 4’s poll was “Undecided,” and that still is the case. Current poll numbers have “Undecided” at 26 percent in the Republican race. Mitt Romney and Ron Paul were far behind in the poll.

Hillary Clinton led Barack Obama on the Democratic side. See the full results. Two other polls has been released in this race each showing a different result on the Republican side.

AP Yahoo Poll finds voters don’t think Romney is authentic.

“No one has seen their image improve more than McCain. According to an Associated Press-Yahoo News survey released Friday, McCain is widely seen as experienced, strong, honest and decisive. He has even shown improvements from two groups he has struggled to win over: conservatives and white evangelical Christians.

[ What ???  Does the news media have this info? They keep saying the exact opposite! How could they be so wrong? Why would they lie?]

Romney’s ratings for likability, strength and attractiveness have improved in the AP-Yahoo poll since November, but he is still well behind McCain in every category. Among those familiar with Romney, most cited was his Mormon faith and a sense he is not authentic, including many who said he changes his mind on issues—a frequent charge leveled by his opponents.
