Duncan Hunter Has Raised the National Security

 Alarm Over Mitt Romney.

Duncan Hunter was little more than a cipher in the 2008 race for the GOP presidential nomination.That doesn’t change the fact that he he served his country honorably, both in Vietnam and as a congressman since 1981.Many observers scratched their heads when Hunter ended his presidential ambitions two weeks ago. Of all the people he might have been expected to endorse, he backed Mike Huckabee.Why not John McCain? Why not Fred? Why not Objectively Unfit Mitt Romney?

Thompson’s easy: It was clear on January 19 when Hunter withdrew that Fred’s South Carolina showing was the end of the line.

McCain? The differences on immigration were probably too great, and McCain-Feingold didn’t help.

But it’s the reason that Mitt Romney didn’t get Duncan Hunter’s endorsement that deserves greater scrutiny (actually, it would be nice if it got ANY scrutiny).

Late last year, Hunter raised serious alarm over a business deal Mitt Romney’s “former” company, Bain Capital, wants to do that, if approved, has the potential to seriously compromise national security.

“Former” is in quotes in the previous paragraph because, though he likes to feign dissociation, Mitt Romney is still invested in many of Bain’s various entities. The New York Times reported it. When it was on his web site (attempts to locate it today were unsuccessful), the Romney campaign’s extract of the Times’s article conveniently snipped that fact. Though his time at Bain is in Romney’s bio, it doesn’t tell readers that he’s still an investor. Romney’s Personal Financial Disclosure form (PDF is accessible at link), while flawed in several ways, nevertheless confirms that his and his family’s Bain investments involve huge amounts of money.

Here’s what Hunter objected to on November 2 (backup link here for future reference; bolds are mine):

San Diego, CA – – – Presidential candidate and current Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee, Congressman Duncan Hunter, today called on former Governor Mitt Romney to send a “clear statement” to the leadership of the company he founded, Bain Capital, to terminate a proposed business deal with a controversial Chinese corporation seeking to acquire U.S. defense contractor 3COM. Bain Capital is attempting to form a business arrangement with Huawei Corporation, a Chinese corporation founded by an officer of the Peoples Liberation Army of Communist China, which faces allegations of assisting Saddam Hussein in the targeting of U.S. aircraft and in helping the Taliban develop surveillance equipment.

“I am extremely concerned that Governor Romney’s company would tout a highly suspect Chinese corporation as a strategic partner,” stated Hunter. “Forming a business partnership with a corporation known to have direct ties with terrorists and dictators while, at the same time, openly seeking to acquire a major U.S. corporation that performs vital cyber security work for the Department of Defense, can only be characterized as irresponsible.”

McCain’s Utah Support (in heavily mormon populace)

McCain also has the backing of Utah’s Jon Huntsman Jr., who represents a heavily Mormon state where Romney is exceptionally popular. Beginning in 2005, McCain, who has spent his entire political career in Congress, made a concerted effort to line up gubernatorial support in anticipation of his 2008 run. He met with nearly every incumbent Republican governor, and campaigned and raised money for them and for other Republicans running for governor in 2006. “We were always asking what we could do for them which, compared to what was going on at the RGA with Mitt Romney running for president, was a welcome relief,” said John Weaver, a former McCain strategist. “If they had a need, we were there to fill it. Campaigns, like football games, are often won by what happens in practice.”

I am an anti war liberal democrat, but I see who YOU are and what you are doing.  No, I don’t agree with John AT ALL on the war, but somehow I understand he IS THE ONLY ONE RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT who I believe to my core, will not lie to us. I believe he honestly wants to fight terroism. Not to take over countries and their resources, and to settle ancient scores, but because it will keep our country safe. No, I don’t agree with the method, but I know John McCain would never INTENTIONALLY hurt the American People. I can’t say that about Clinton, and I can’t say that about Obama. Sadly.  And, if there is one thing I know for sure, it is this:  If this country remains in the Satonic strangle hold of the far right (who despises Jesus), we are in for a nightmare of a proportion you cannot even imagine.

The real CAIN, is BAIN, and it’s founder. The real Able is the one WHO IS.

I have been listening to Joe Scarborough, and he is changed forever. Stunned. He cannot stand it. His man, Mitt, lost. Chris Matthews- same thing. Some of the others have moved on this morning, but not until they have had their say on how shocked they are that Mitt lost. Pleeeeease.  See, if Mitt wins, then all of his rich Corporate friends have more and more money, on the backs of the *gentile* little people, and that means more money for CNN and MSNBC. But, here’s the big secret:  The Mormons do NOT align with the Jews, numerically. They align with their Creator though. I’ve already told you who that is. Think about that later- when you’re holed up in your house, without your guns and no food storage.

So….What’s the topic this morning on CNN and MSNBC?  Obama. Now, how does one go from Romney to Obama with such fervor?

Now, if you read my blog, you will easily see that I am not a Hillary Clinton fan. Before now, I couldn’t ever imagine voting for her. I supported Bill Clinton’s impeachment. I was horrified at what he did. Still am. I was outraged at his pardon of Mark Rich, and these two things would keep me from voting another Clinton.

But, a picture is coming into focus here, and I am paying much closer attention. You should too.

I have run the numbers on Barak Hussein Obama. His string, is – well, the single most potent string I have done, and I have done many. Why is it potent? Because it’s numerical alignment is with Romney. And Romney’s God. You don’t wanna know who they are. If you haven’t seen the Discovery Channel’s PHOENIX LIGHTS, it airs again on 2/22. Don’t ya love that number? It’s theirs. But, see it anyway. You do realize that there are extra terrestial craft (ETC ) buzzing planet earth- and some of them are a mile long. Now, what do you suppose that means. You aren’t paying attention are you. These beings are the builders of the Great Pyramid of Giza. At some point, you will understand that I am telling you the truth.  Just planting a seed, so you know when it comes.

I already told you that Romney and Clinton align on the vertical.   231.   This is a very big deal. If they are the nominees, then we have a repeat of September Dawn. But, if Obama gets in – then you have two candidates with very interesting alignments. I don’t feel good about it.

But, the more the media trashes the Clintons, the more I am inclined to vote for her. Because I know exactly who the media is. Bill and Hillary would be far better to trust than them. Way. Are they the perfect solution. Nope. Not at all. But, this is where we are.

I like John McCain, and were not for his war support, I could have voted for him. But, if I align with him, I align with murder. That takes me out of the hands of true Jesus. No thanks.

McCain wins Florida. Independents would not vote Romney. But, how convenient. Media claims it’s do or die.

In New Hampshire, independent voters pushed Republican John McCain to victory. And Democrat Barack Obama regularly describes himself as the candidate to attract independents and Republicans to Democratic ideals.

But Tuesday, when voters go to the polls in the Florida primary, and again next week when New Yorkers do the same, independent voters will be shut out, potentially hurting the two presidential candidates who have based their campaigns partly on appealing to independents.

Did Mitt Romney BRIBE the right to think better of him?

In the months before announcing his bid for the Republican presidential nomination, former Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts contributed tens of thousands of dollars of his personal fortune to several conservative groups in a position to influence his image on the right.

Last December, a foundation controlled by Mr. Romney made contributions of $10,000 to $15,000 to each of three Massachusetts organizations associated with major national conservative groups: the antiabortion Massachusetts Citizens for Life, Massachusetts Citizens for Limited Taxation and the Christian conservative Massachusetts Family Institute.

Mr. Romney and a group of his supporters also contributed a total of about $10,000 to a nonprofit group affiliated with National Review. Over the past two years, he contributed $35,000 to the Federalist Society, an influential network of conservative lawyers. And in December 2005, he contributed $25,000 to the Heritage Foundation, a leading conservative research organization.

The recipients of Mr. Romney’s donations said the money had no influence on them. But some of the groups, notably Citizens for Life and the Family Institute, have turned supportive of Mr. Romney after criticizing him in the past.
